Education Zone:
The Education Zone plays host to a variety of activities to educate measurement professionals about the state-of-the-art in metrology. This year the EZ will feature a focus on our conference theme Celebrating the pioneers of precision and tomorrow’s innovators with panel discussions and speakers that will be engaging and provide information that attendees from all industries will find interesting. There will be interactive panel discussions on highlight changes in metrology technology, career presentations from pillars of the metrology community and updates on key industry organizations. . We will also feature speakers that have a long history in metrology that will share their perspectives on the past and where our industry is headed in the future.
This year the EZ will host Metrology Jeopardy with all new software – the CMSC game show that brings teams together to answer questions based on the CMS Certification exams. Don’t miss an opportunity to claim the title of Jeopardy Champion. The Coordinate Metrology Society is dedicated to the growth and enthusiasm for Education Zone programming. The society will also reach out to the CMS population for ideas on the areas of metrology they would like to learn more about. The Education Zone will continue to be a test bed for the CMS Certification program through feedback sessions on future certifications and growth ideas.

Metrology Jeopardy:
The main attraction of the Zone is the ever-popular Metrology Jeopardy Quiz Show hosted by Bob Elliott. This test-your-knowledge game is based upon the CMS Level-One Certification program and its core body of knowledge. During the CMS Quiz Show, participants will first compete in heats, and each winning team will stand off in a grand finale game to claim the title of 2024 CMSC Champions. All attendees are invited to engage in this fun and interactive platform to test their metrology chops.
We will be hosting 3 Sessions of Metrology Jeopardy on Tuesday and Wednesday with the Final Metrology Jeopardy event being held late Wednesday afternoon. This Final Jeopardy round will be comprised of the winners from the first three sessions. All participants will get a ticket toward a prizes to be given out at the Thursday afternoon conference feedback session. Winners of each round will get additional tickets toward the grand prize.
