Each year the Nominating Committee of the CMS solicits potential candidates for CMS Leadership positions. The election will take place electronically.
The term of these positions will begin immediately following the conference, with an introductory meeting held Friday evening of the conference.

CMS BoD and EC Qualifications:
BoD and EC nominee qualifications include the following:
- Passion and experience that aligns with the purpose and mission of CMS (Articles 1 and 2)
- Recognized reputation for integrity and competence
- Demonstrated management and leadership experience
- Budget procurement and management knowledge
- Skill in building staff and developing people
- Nominees may not be candidates for more than one voting office on the EC or BoD.
- A member running for office cannot serve on the nominating committee.
- Nominees for the EC must be a CMS member in good standing.
